Kaqi: seizing opportunities, mobilising energy
The name Kaqi comes from two ideas that describe what we bring, how we work and what we know.
Kairos: « seizing opportunities »
In Greek mythology, Kairos is the god of the opportune moment, while Chronos is the god of passing time. He is shown as a man with a thick lock of hair that can be seized and caught.
In any transformation or mobilisation project, timing matters. There are « windows of opportunity » and « favourable alignments » that need to be spotted and used to increase your gains. Opening your project to its environment, helping you keep up its pace, and our responsiveness are part of the value we add.
Qi: « mobilising energy »
In Eastern thought, « qi » expresses inner energy. In traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and acupressure (like Western osteopathy) aim to balance and, where needed, restore the flow of inner energy. In Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese martial arts, mobilising « qi » is at the heart of inner balance and expressed power.
Our work aims both to diagnose the dysfunctions and/or weaknesses of your team, organisation or project, and to restore and strengthen its harmonious, effective and powerful functioning, through a global, systemic approach.
Six principles for action
Our approach to transformation and mobilisation projects centres on human dynamics. It is a systemic approach that takes into account the many parameters of your project and your team: organisational factors, personal motivations, interactions between individuals and between organisations, company policies, technical, financial or legal constraints…
For each situation, we design and build with you a tailor-made approach, suited to your challenges, your personality, your context and your means. Yet certain principles for action, which reflect our convictions and expertise, run through all our work.

Acting in uncertainty
The situations you face are complex by nature: sometimes technologically, often in regulatory terms, and always humanly. Faced with this complexity, trying to fully « control » the situation is ineffective and futile.
To lead your teams and your company through this uncertainty, we help you adopt agile principles and adaptive ways of working, and encourage mobilising, effective solutions to emerge.

Sharing out roles
The project dynamics we propose do not rely on hierarchical power, which is both ineffective and demotivating, drives talent away and discourages initiative. In matrix organisations and in cooperation between organisations, the question is not « who is the boss », but rather how to agree on « working better together » and run collaborative dynamics.
To make the most of every talent and the resources available, we help you put in place a distribution of roles that is mobilising, effective and lasting.

Setting the pace
Business life is full of emergencies, demands and projects… often with ever scarcer talent and resources. So if your project is not moving forward as you would like, it is often because it gets lost among other « emergencies ».
To foster productive dynamics and ownership of your goals through the commitment of as many people as possible, we help you structure and run a project with a steady rhythm. Whether they are called matches, episodes, sprints or attractors, they are always milestones that mobilise your teams and partners over time.

Building ownership
The best way to make a transformation and/or mobilisation project succeed is to increase ownership of its goals and shared achievements among all stakeholders. This is why we help you mobilise your allies, towards a shared success.
These principles also guide our consulting work. Our way of intervening is light by nature, because the project you lead, or the dynamic you drive, does not belong to the consultants. It is yours! We share our expertise, ease complex and conflictual situations, speed up your projects and give you operational support when needed. And we like to build a long-term relationship of trust and closeness. But we will not take your place!
This is why we favour collaborative dynamics which, once your teams own them, are built to last.

Easing transformations
Changing habits and ways of working, transforming organisations and working methods… There is often a gulf between intention and action. We do not believe in forced dynamics, and we reject manipulation, which is neither ethical nor effective.
We ease your transformations by supporting you and your teams. While keeping delivery on pace, we recognise how sensitive all these « transitions » are, and support them as such, structuring the dynamics as true transitional spaces, with moments of cohesion and time to breathe and take ownership.

Alternating individual and collective
With you and for you, we spark the mobilisation of individual and collective energy. Company and project dynamics are collective by nature. This is why we structure your dynamics around mobilisation attractors that bring people together. And we help you run collective, collaborative moments that encourage participants and strengthen synergies.
But these collective dynamics also feed on individual energy and contributions. This is why our work relies heavily on one-to-one mobilisation skills, so that everyone finds their place within your team and makes their contribution.
