Kaqi’s founder
Alexis Kummetat has been a consultant in change management, leadership and stakeholder mobilisation for more than 20 years. After starting his career in the political and politico-military world (European Union, NATO), he spent some ten years with a consulting firm before founding Kaqi in January 2008.
His academic background reflects the complementary nature of his approaches:
- university studies in physical sciences, then philosophy;
- an Executive MS HEC Paris / Oxford University « Consulting and Coaching for Change »;
- an MSc « Human Factors and System Safety » at Lund University;
- several short programmes at Sciences Po Paris (stakeholder strategies), Thunderbird School of Global Management (Global business essentials) and HEC (strategy).
An expert in management and change management, he imagines, designs and, above all, supports the implementation of stakeholder mobilisation, transformation and performance improvement projects, with the executive and management teams of companies and organisations, and with regional decision-makers.
- His contribution to your projects: helping you implement the expected changes (« moving from intention to action »), deal with the unexpected (and often inevitable), and « work better together », especially in sensitive and/or high-stakes contexts.
- His approach: centring the work on human dynamics, both individual and collective.
- His expertise: matrix organisations, non-hierarchical and cross-functional management and leadership, humanly sensitive situations.
He also runs professional training (action learning) as part of management projects or in dedicated sessions. He is in charge of the « Collaboration and change management » module of the BIM advanced master’s programme at ENPC and ESTP, where he teaches change management and supervises students’ professional theses.
He works with many companies and organisations across a range of sectors: industry, energy, services, transport, specialist retail…
